Oakland Inspection 2024
Our annual inspection for our Oakland setting took place earlier this year focusing on Staffing, Management and Leadership. The full report is available to all parents upon request. Below are some of the highlights.

‘’During the inspection a lively and yet homely/supportive environment was observed. Children enjoyed spending time with their siblings and also getting to know children from different schools.’’
‘’Children were not over stimulated or inundated with activities but there seemed to be just the right amount on offer. It was clear in talking to staff that play activities are set out and planned in response to feedback and discussion with the children about what they enjoy.’’
‘’Siobhan McIlwaine provided information about the huge programme planned for the summer. She pointed me to a long list of activities that have been planned. It was clear that these activities would excite the children and that there would be something for everyone to enjoy.’’
‘’One of the things that really stood out during the inspection was staff interactions with children. Staff were observed to be creative in how they spoke and interacted with the children. They made a real effort throughout the session to interact with multiple children and connect with them.’’
